Features
·MON6X1 is a monitoring device with stereo analog/digital input and stereo analog output. (DANTE and SDI inputs optional)
·Three input signal types are available: select AN/AES, DANTE, or SDI via the panel's toggle switch.
1) AN/AES: Standard configuration with 6 pairs of AN/AES stereo inputs, selectable via the rear panel's rotary switch. AN indicates analog input, AES indicates digital input. The channel numbers 1-6 (1-6) represent 6 input channels. For example, when channel 1 is set to AES, the input signal is digital. In digital mode, this channel on the rear panel can only receive signals from the L/AES port. Channels 5 and 6 support AN/AES/SDI/DANTE inputs. When SDI/DANTE is selected, the rotary switch on the front panel must be set to DANTE or SDI respectively.
2) DANTE: To monitor DANTE signals, switch to DANTE mode and select the mono "M" setting on the other switch. The 1-6 buttons then function as DANTE channel selectors (channels 1-6). When the stereo "S" setting is selected, the 1-3 buttons become DANTE channel selectors (channels 1/2; 3/4; 5/6).
3) SDI: To monitor SDI signals, switch to SDI mode and select the "M" button for mono. The 1-6 buttons then function as SDI channel selectors (channels 1-6). When the "S" button is set for stereo, the 1-3 buttons become SDI channel selectors (channels 1/2; 3/4; 5/6).
The PPM peak table displays the input or output audio signal of the selected channel in real time. You can select whether to monitor input or output signals by choosing the IN/OUT option in the METER bar on the panel.
·Select channel 1-6 using the button group. Press the corresponding button to output the selected channel, and the backlight (red) will illuminate to indicate the current channel.
·The device features built-in stereo speaker monitoring. Use the dial switch on the panel's OUT bar to select SPEAK mode for internal speaker output, PHONE mode for headphones, or LINE mode for line output monitoring.
·Volume knob to adjust the volume of the speaker, headphones, or line output, with each setting saved separately
